The Clause hit back at social media lies in latest gritty soaring anthem

I Don’t Care is the latest stone cold anthem from The Clause who’ve made waves this year with slots at pretty much every festival that counts.

The boys bring together the swagger of the 60s, the rolling groove of the 80s and the riotous verve and attitude of the 90s.

Incredibly passionate about social injustice and determined to use their platform to change the world, the boys famously fed 50 families throughout lockdown with their own food bank – while many established rock stars were living it up in their mansions, these lads were out delivering food they’d collected themselves.

I Don’t Care is a rallying call to anyone struggling with their own life and achievements, battling mental health issues or just worried about their place in the world.

It’s a calling card to remind us all that all is not what it seems on socials – you’re comparing yourself to something that isn’t real – so just let it go. Don’t care.

Frontman Pearce Macca said: “I Don’t Care is an indie-disco anthem about liberation from the expectations of everyday life.

“Stemming from the fear of not knowing what direction to take in life, it’s easy to feel trapped by the perception of others lifestyles on social media.

“Instead, I cling on to the fact that “life behind the camera ain’t as pretty as it seems”. So I don’t care about conforming to the formula of a perfect life, I want to do things my own way.

“Inspired by influences such as FOALS and Kasabian, the track blends a disco groove with big rock riffs and a chorus to create a unique indie-disco cocktail designed to get you up off your feet.”

Well said – but you’d expect that from a man who writes the best hooks on the planet – coming to a stadium near you soon.

The band have notched up their most successful year to date in 2023 with tours, massive fest slots and much more.

They played Isle of Wight main stage and River stage, Silverstone Festival, supported James, The Sherlocks and Lottery Winners.

The last single was supported by Radio 1, John Kennedy on X and XS radio play.

And Clausemania is most definitely now a thing.

So don’t miss out – jump on board with a band who will MAKE you care.
