It’s been a big end of the year. . .
for Manchester’s anthemic rock ‘n’ rollers ROLLA. First the single ‘It Ain’t Easy’ provided fresh evidence of their next-up powers, with a song completed with the help of Kasabian legend Serge Pizzorno that went on to be named as John Kennedy’s X-Posure Hot One on Radio X and Jim Salveson’s Record of the Week at XS Manchester. They then went onto shake the foundations of the hallowed Salford Lads’ Club with a special benefit show that helped raise over £5000 and helped secure the venue’s future.
Firing on from that run of form, ROLLA now announce a triple-shot of action that will ensure that they will make a thunderous impression deep into 2025. They today announce that they will issue their new EP ‘We Owe You Nothing’ on March 7th, the first release under a new deal with Run On Records (The Royston Club). The band also reveal details of their biggest ever headline show at Manchester’s 1300-capacity New Century Hall on May 3rd, and share the brand new video for ‘It’s So Easy’.
The four-track EP follows 2023’s ‘Nothing Less Than Everything’, which shot straight to #1 on the iTunes Album and Alternative Charts. Their first ever vinyl release is now available to pre-order HERE and features the title track and ‘It Ain’t Easy’ alongside two brand new songs ‘Beautiful Lie’ and ‘The Slide’.
The New Century Hall show represents a landmark leap in stature for ROLLA. They have previously proven their future arena-headlining status with huge shows as guests to Kasabian as well as festivals everywhere from the Isle of Wight to Neighbourhood. Tickets for the show are now available HERE.
ROLLA said, “This is more than just a gig—it’s a defining moment for the band and our fans – a coming together of everything we’ve built so far and we mean to make it special. It’s gonna go off. New Century Hall is a proper Manchester institution. It’s been a part of the city’s music scene for decades and after its recent revival it’s sounding and looking better than ever. We can’t wait to fill it out with our sound.”
