The rising Glaswegian singer-songwriter Dylan John Thomas is shaping up to make a major impact in 2022, having recently inspired rambunctious scenes with a sold-out homecoming headline show at Glasgow’s Barrowland and latest single ‘Fever’. Now Dylan is Under The Spotlight in the latest video from menswear specialists scotts after they documented Jamie Webster’s first ever trip to SXSW.
Shot in the Film Shed in East London, the Under The Spotlight video shows Dylan sporting a selection of looks from Columbia’s summer 2022 collection, all of which are available from scotts’ Columbia catalogue. The video is soundtracked by Dylan’s fan favourite and live staple ‘Jenna’.
Dylan’s current single ‘Fever’ is the first taste of his upcoming second EP, which is the follow-up to his self-titled debut which was released last autumn. His handful of first singles have already been rewarded with airplay from BBC Introducing, Radio X and 6 Music. His ever-growing organic fanbase has already seen him sell-out Glasgow’s King Tut’s quicker than any other debuting artist in the venue’s history, while his rise has been supported with the mentorship of Gerry Cinnamon as well as shows with Sam Fender, Liam Gallagher and Stereophonics.
More touring highlights are now on the agenda for Dylan, including Glastonbury, TRNSMT, and Dundee’s Summer Sessions as guest toNoel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
